Why People Love Gold Coast Dental

Dylara K.
AMAZING. I never ever had a great experience like this with a dentist before. Starting from the front desk, doctor, asistants, manager... Everybody were so nice, helpful. Since they are not accepting my insurance, they gave me free xray and exam. After we discussed what I need, They gave me really really good price and discount. No doubt I will come back! Thanks everyone!!

I highly recommend this office. They are professional and their customer service is amazing. I had work done there and they walked me through what they were doing the whole time. They did such a good job with me that I even took my 3 year old for his first check up. They were also amazing with him! Thanks Gold Coast and keep up the great work you guys are doing!

The staff is friendly. The place is clean and tidy. They use the best technology for x-rays. It's not painful to get X-rays here it's a breeze. From the dentist to the staff you are given advice on what needs to be done and how to go about it. You're given choices and I like having choices.

Had to get my retainers replaced, and I must say I had to most delightful experience at Gold Coast. I was greeted by Mario, who was very welcoming and polite. Got my retainers made by a gentle hand name Yesenia and all my questions and concerns were answered by Marilu. I highly recommend this office , because when you love what you do it shows in your work!! Not only do I mention one staff at Gold Cost dental , but 3!! It’s a great team!

My 2 sons and I have been patients of Gold Coast for well over a decade and it’s quite honestly the best dental office in the Whittier & La Habra area! We’ve never received less than exceptional service. From quick appointments to seeing us immediately for emergency dental work, the attention is top notch! They go above and beyond for their patients and we’ve consistently been treated with kindness and care (especially by Lucy!) We definitely feel like family anytime we visit! If you’re looking for excellent dentists, oral hygienists and attentive staff, then look no further!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Today I did my first treatment with Dr. Farwaz. He was so gentle, kind and very knowledgeable. He spoke to me in a way that I could understand my procedures and how to maintain a better dental health and I truely appreciated all he explained to me. Ashley at the Front desk went over my treatment plan with me and made sure I was comfortable with my plan and payment. Brittney and Maria did my x-rays and were so kind and made sure I was comfortable as it was my first-time with them. I will definitely be returning.
Neal P.
This dental office is by far the best I’ve ever been to. I was amazed by the technology they use at this office for fast efficient dental work. My teeth are cleaner then they have ever been. See you guys in six months.
Danielle J.
I had a lot of work done recently and Dr. Furuichi was quick and great at getting me through it! It amazes me how much work he can do so painlessly! Stephanie Rizzo made everything from making sure I was comfortable & taken care of to a perfect treatment plan! Thank you to both of you & to whom is reading this I highly recommend Gold Coast Dental in Brea!!
Angela Z.
My 14 y.o. daughter who is terrified of needles went in for two fillings and Dr. Ed was amazing with her. Talked her through the whole process. He would stop to make sure she was okay. He was very personable, gentle, and engaged. Not only did he ease my daughters fears he eased mine as well.
Rosemary R.
Dr. Amro, Emma, and the rest of the staff are wonderful, caring, and dedicated to their profession. They always make me feel like I'm their only patient for the day! I'm so happy I found them a couple of months ago. They did an excellent job on the many procedures I required as I had neglected professional dental care for quite some time. They are now my permanent dental team for me and my entire family.
Maria R.
My family and I have been going to Gold Coast Dental in La Habra for a few years now. Our experience has always been a great one. Everyone there are helpful and friendly. These past few weeks I've been taking my mom because she needed dentures (she is 80 years old) and Dr. Simon has been the BEST at taking care of her. He is extremely gentle and cares for his patients. I would recommend Gold Coast Dental La Habra to anyone who is looking for a great dental office.
Debbie M.
Very professional with emphasis on patient comfort. We were very impressed by the modern equipment and technology as well as the overall attitude of the staff. The Office Manager was awesome to work with as with. The doctor and his assistant was very gentle and kind, putting my comfort upper most in their mind. Everyone took the time to explain what was going. Even the Assistant explained what the plan was. Highly recommend this dental office to anyone in the area.
Laura O.
Great dental care team, always so friendly and accommodating. I'm about at the halfway point of my braces and so far its gone great!

What Qualifies as a Dental Emergency or Injury?

Dental emergencies can encompass a range of situations, from sudden and severe pain to accidents that result in damaged teeth. Here are some common scenarios that qualify as dental emergencies:

  • Severe Tooth Pain: Experiencing intense or persistent tooth pain that is beyond what over-the-counter pain relievers can manage.
  • Knocked-out Tooth: When a tooth is knocked out, prompt treatment significantly increases the chance of saving it.
  • Chipped, Cracked, or Broken Teeth: Trauma to the mouth can result in damaged teeth that require immediate repair.
  • Abscess or Swelling: Swelling in the gums, face, or jaw often indicates an infection that needs urgent attention.
  • Lost Crown or Filling: Losing a crown or filling can expose sensitive tooth structures and necessitate quick replacement.
  • Bleeding Gums or Soft Tissue Injuries: Uncontrolled bleeding from the gums or injuries to the soft tissues inside your mouth should be addressed promptly.

Signs That You Need to See a Dentist

Recognizing the signs that you need to see a dentist in an emergency can make all the difference in preserving your oral health. If you experience any of the following symptoms or situations, seek immediate dental care:

  • Severe and Unmanageable Pain: Persistent and severe toothache that doesn't subside with pain relievers is an indicator of a problem that needs professional attention.
  • Swelling and Inflammation: Swelling in the gums, face, or jaw, especially when accompanied by pain, could indicate an infection.
  • Tooth Sensitivity: Sudden and extreme sensitivity to hot or cold temperatures may signal an underlying issue.
  • Bleeding Gums: If your gums bleed excessively and do not stop bleeding, it may indicate gum disease or an injury.
  • Damaged Teeth: Whether it's a cracked tooth or a knocked-out tooth, any damage to your teeth should be assessed urgently.
  • Loose Dental Appliances: If braces, retainers, or other dental appliances become loose or damaged, it's important to have them repaired promptly.

How to Handle Dental Emergencies

In the event of a dental emergency, it's crucial to take immediate steps to alleviate pain and prevent further damage before you can see a dentist. Here's what you can do:

  • Toothache: Rinse your mouth with warm water, floss to remove any trapped debris, and take over-the-counter pain relievers if needed.
  • Knocked-out Tooth: Try to place the tooth back into its socket without touching the root, or keep it in a container of milk or saliva. Seek dental care within 30 minutes for the best chance of saving the tooth.
  • Chipped or Broken Teeth: Save any broken pieces and rinse your mouth with warm water. Apply a cold compress to reduce swelling.
  • Abscess or Swelling: Gently rinse your mouth with a saltwater solution and use a cold compress to reduce swelling.
  • Lost Crown or Filling: If possible, reattach the crown with dental adhesive or sugarless gum. Avoid using regular glue. Keep the area clean.

Remember, these are temporary measures to manage discomfort and protect your dental health until you can receive professional care.
